Common RVL Opening Problems
muvee Reveal X Isn't There
Double-clicking your RVL file prompts the message "%%os%% Can't Open RVL File". When this happens, it is commonly due to muvee Reveal X missing in %%os%%. The typical path of opening your RVL with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.
Tip: If you know of another program that can open your RVL file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.
muvee Reveal X is Out-of-Date
Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of muvee Reveal X installed that's incompatible with your Muvee Reveal X Project File type. Installing the latest version of muvee Reveal X from muvee is recommended. This problem is most common when you have an older version of the software application, and your file was created by a newer version that it cannot recognize.
