Common RPJ Opening Problems

Real Pac Not Present

If you attempt to load your RPJ file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open RPJ Files". Generally, this is experienced in %%os%% because Real Pac isn't installed on your PC. You won't be able to double-click to open your RPJ because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.

Tip: If you have another software that you know opens RPJ files, you can select it by hitting the "Show Apps" button.

Obsolete Version of Real Pac

Your Real Pac Batch Job File file is incompatible with Real Pac because you might have the wrong version installed. If you've got the wrong version of Real Pac installed, you'll need to install the correct version. This problem is predominately due to having a Real Pac Batch Job File file version that was created by a newer version of Real Pac than what you have installed on your PC.

Tip: If you right-click on your RPJ file, then select "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac), you can obtain hints about what version you need.

Summary: In either case, the majority of problems opening RPJ files are related to not having the correct software application installed on your computer.
