Troubles Opening FMZ Files
AutoDesSys formZ Disappeared
When trying to open your FMZ file, you get the error "Can't Open FMZ File Type". Customarily, this means that AutoDesSys formZ is not installed on %%os%%. Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.
Tip: If you know of another program that can open your FMZ file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.
AutoDesSys formZ is Out-of-Date
Your Form•Z Project File file is incompatible with AutoDesSys formZ because you might have the wrong version installed. You will need to download a newer version of AutoDesSys formZ if you don't have the right version. Most of the time your Form•Z Project File file was created by a newer AutoDesSys formZ than what you have installed.
Tip: You can sometimes get hints about the right program version by right-clicking on the FMZ file, selecting "Properties", and looking at the version information.
Regardless, most of the FMZ file opening problems relate to not having the right version of AutoDesSys formZ installed.
