Troubleshooting Problems Opening INB Files
Issues Opening INB Files
Star Wars: Rebel Assault Disappeared
Double-clicking your INB file prompts the message "%%os%% Can't Open INB File". When this happens, it is commonly due to Star Wars: Rebel Assault missing in %%os%%. This will prevent you from double-clicking to open the INB file because the OS doesn’t know how to handle it.
Tip: If you know of another program that can open your INB file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.
Star Wars: Rebel Assault Requires Update
Your Rebel Assault Backup file is incompatible with Star Wars: Rebel Assault because you might have the wrong version installed. If you do not have the proper version Star Wars: Rebel Assault (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. The primary cause of this problem is that your Rebel Assault Backup file was created by a different (newer) version of Star Wars: Rebel Assault than what's installed.
Tip: Find clues on the correct software version by right-clicking your INB file and clicking "Properties".
Ultimately, most of the difficulties opening INB files are due to having the wrong version of Star Wars: Rebel Assault installed.
More Causes of Problems Opening INBs
