HP System Software Manager (SSM) Isn't There

If you attempt to load your CVA file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open CVA Files". Customarily, this means that HP System Software Manager (SSM) is not installed on %%os%%. Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.

Tip: If you don't have HP System Software Manager (SSM) installed, and you know of another program to open your CVA file, you can try opening it by selecting from the programs listed under "Show Apps".

Outdated HP System Software Manager (SSM)

In other instances, your HP SSM Information File file version may not be supported by your version of HP System Software Manager (SSM). Installing the latest version of HP System Software Manager (SSM) from Hewlett-Packard is recommended.
